PE in Reception

 Today in PE, we imagined we were in the ‘Room on the Broom’ story. We started off by acting as the different characters in the story to warm our bodies up- cat, dog, crow, frog and the dragon. Then we set up an obstacle course for us to travel over, under and through as we collected the magic needed to fly the broomstick.

The children had to balance and climb along the benches and then jump or slide safely off the end. They also had to crawl through different spaces, carrying the magic beanbags and throw them into the cauldrons.
