Mini Vinnies

 The Mini Vinnies are back!

It's the new academic year and we are excited to meet again each week with our ideas and actions.


We welcomed 2 new members to the Mini Vinnie group, Shakira and Emma from Year 6.  They took the Mini Vinnie promise and were given their badges.  They are very excited to join the group. 






Raveena, the President, and Ivy, the Vice President introduced Vincent the Mini Vinnie Bear to KS1.  They told the children that the adults working with them will be looking out for random 'acts of kindness.'  If chosen Vincent Bear would be able to sit on their desk for the day and have a few cuddles. Vincent Bear will be in Year 2 for the Autumn Term and then will be going to Year 1 for the Spring Term and finish the year in the Summer Term in Reception Year.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
