 Mini Vinnies visit The Wisdom Club

This morning The Mini Vinnies visited our friends at The Wisdom Club.  As always with our visits to The Wisdom Club it was a lot of fun.

The Mini Vinnies entertained the members of the club with some of their favourite songs including, Mamma Mia, Sometimes Lord, Oceans and Celebrate which got everyone clapping.

The children then spent time with the members showing them some of their school work so far this academic year, which is something our friends always enjoy.  The children shared their art work and their English work.  

The visit finished with a drink of juice and some cakes and biscuits which is always a winner with the children!!!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.

 We were very impressed with the costumes this year!  Year 5 Year 6 Year 4 Year 3 Year 2 Year 1 Reception Assembly  Staff Staff A wonderful effort was made by all and we were particularly impressed with the home made costumes! Well done everyone!
