 A Wonderful Time at The Wisdom Club!


What a wonderful visit The Mini Vinnies had this morning at The Wisdom Club, this is a regular event now and everyone has the most enjoyable time.  The younger members of the community meeting with the older members of the community.  There was a lot of singing with the children singing some of their favourite songs, and many members of The Wisdom Club joined in with the Abba songs!!

The children shared their work with their friends at the club, they were particularly excited to show their IPC work of WW2.  Cakes and drinks were served which always goes down well.

Olive and Agnes the Year 4 Mini Vinnies invited the members of The Wisdom Club to a special performance of their Easter Production next week, so we are looking forward to seeing some there.

We received a lovely email from the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre Pauline McAloone saying, ' A BIG THANKYOU - Thank you and the children so much for entertaining us today.  It was lovely'.

We can't wait to go again!

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.

 We were very impressed with the costumes this year!  Year 5 Year 6 Year 4 Year 3 Year 2 Year 1 Reception Assembly  Staff Staff A wonderful effort was made by all and we were particularly impressed with the home made costumes! Well done everyone!
